Authenticated Early Debit Order (AEDO)

AEDO payment instructions are created in real-time by the Payer using a point of sale device supplied by Intecon.

The Payers bank card and PIN are used as a means of authentication prior to the payment due date. Successful collections cannot be reversed except when fraud has occurred and no Disputes as with the NAEDO Payment Stream are entertained.

The bank account is validated during the creation process which further confirms the bank account details and assists in ensuring that the correct bank account details have been captured on the ALLPS-i solution.

The Payer along with his / her Card and PIN must be present when loading a payment instruction; AEDO is typically suited for businesses with "walk-in" clients.

Intecon also supplies devices that are mobile and therefore the ability to create AEDO payment instructions outside of a traditional office set-up is supported. This solution is called ALLPS-m.

The deduction value of the AEDO payment instruction cannot be edited and therefore this payment stream is designed and suited for fixed installment amounts.

The following businesses are typical Users of AEDO
(but not limited to):

  • Credit Providers
  • Gyms and Sports clubs where renewal is done face-to-face
  • Debt Collection Companies where promises to pay are done face-to-face)
  • Schools where Parents or Guardians have seen face-to-face
  • Fixed term subscriptions
  • Letting agents/agencies where renewals are done face-to-face
